Hi everyone
I am new member of forum. I am studying in Oz. I wanna to speak with an Aussie accent, so I wanna find books read by Aussie people.
Can somebody suggest some books for me ?

Exactly why do you want to know? People do not have to post where they come from , I assume if they wanted people to know they would post - I notice you have not posted your country.

Luciburg is also Austrailian. I'm not entirely sure why you want to fake an Austrailian accent though - chances are that without a lot of practice people will just see through it and think you're being a bit strange or worse deliberately mocking them.

I have found these, all of whom have an Australian accent to a greater or lesser extent: Jordan, Linda Ferguson, Mark Bolton, Landii

I am from Vietnam. I just wanna to find an Australian accent to follow, to improve my pronunciation and listening, that's all. You two can think that 's strange, but I think that it may be a good way to learn English, especially with people who are living in Australia like me. Very Happy

I've been looking around at what we have- I get the impression you want a Solo - the same voice all the time ? That reduces the numbers a bit.
How good would you say your English understanding was ? (Whatever it is it is much better than my Vietnamese understanding)
Because our books have to have been written before 1922 many of them use out of date English which makes things difficult even for us Very Happy

So I have come up with "Seven Little Australians"
Luciburg has a number of Solos
Thadine has a number , many but not all biblical.

another way to get some Australian speakers would be via talking books borrowed from your local library . There are a number of Authors
Kate Greenwood goes in for lady detectives
Emily Rodda - Rowan of Rin series are a good listen even if they are labelled as Children
and there are others . They tend to have more up to date language. Maybe the librarian could help you out.
