Re: COMPLETE [CHILDREN] Jacko and Jumpo Kinkytail by Howard R. Garis - kiki

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/jacko-and-jumpo-kinkytail-by-howard-r-garis/ Just noticed that in the catalog for “Read by:” it still has ‘Librivox Volunteers.’ Didn’t know if that’s something you’d want to change? It probably did...

Re: 1 min test

Oh wow! It sounds so much better!

Only issue now is that the volume is at 84.4 dB, so if you'd amplify it 5 dB it'd be about perfect. Could you please amplify this file (without re-recording) and upload? I'm pretty sure that'll be all that needs done, but we'd better make sure. :)

Thanks,

Re: Would You Rather... - The game of Icky fun! [FORUM GAME]

Seeing as I can be a bit of an introvert and get a little claustrophobic with foreign objects invading my personal space, I'd choose the quarantine. But then again, for the rest of my life? :hmm:

Re: 1-Minute Test

Hi again! :) Yep, the noise has been cleaned right out of it! ;) Be careful though of doing too much 'scrubbing' as it can eventually distort the sound quality. In my opinion, a little less would have been OK here, as I think it has just a bit of a hollow sound at times. But I'm just giving that as ...

Re: 1 min test

Yay! Those tricky technical settings are all correct now! And your volume has come up drastically as well. :) It is actually at the upper end of our range now (91.3 dB), but OK. Here's a link to the wiki page that talks about Checker, the handy tool that checks volume, settings, etc. https://...
