Re: Some feedback from experienced narrators

Hi Ares! What a great idea! We all have important perspectives to share, and this is a generous group of people. I appreciate how cautious our proof listeners are when they follow LV principles to only point out the most glaring errors. Sometimes we want more than that. Thanks for the links and the ...

Re: Link To Anne Austin's Bio Found

Thanks for noticing and caring about such things. It's very helpful and useful. You might want to help out with the effort to link Wikipedia and LibriVox pages with each other. See the discussion at:

Re: Project status table! Click here to find works nearing completion

I've looked at the page a number of times, and appreciated when it had been updated recently. Too bad it isn't updated programmatically. Thanks for your efforts!

Like Kevin said, we find other ways to identify needy projects, so when other priorities demand your attention, we're OK.

Re: Contacting Libraries to Add Librivox to their website

This is a great idea! I don't remember ever seeing a link to LV on any library's website. I'll put this on my to-do list for my local library and regional library system. Then I could contact a neighboring county... To organize this effort, maybe we could start by reporting here which libraries we c...

Re: [GROUP]The Wrong of Slavery by Robert Dale Owen-mtf

I'm up! And hoping to re-record the changes tomorrow morning and edit them in then. I found the "Yattel" mistakes exactly as you wrote, and exactly as my copy-and-paste had rendered them. Funny I hadn't noticed the difference! I'm glad you did! I will also correct my mispronunciation of Angelina's n...

Re: [Gothic Novel]Doctor Grimshawe's Secret by Nathaniel Hawthorne -jo

I must admit that I have not yet found the key to regaining my health. I see that this book is now listed as Readers Found, so I feel compelled to let others record the chapters that I claimed and rehearsed with such enthusiasm.

Thank you for your patience as I put in my best effort,
Grace

Re: Suggest a "Staff Pick" for archive.org

Books that everybody knows I'm looking for books that influenced generations and are part of the collective memory of the world or a particular country. Project Gutenberg Top 5 EBooks last 30 days (number of downloads during that time), linked to LibriVox editions: Frankenstein ; Or, The Modern Pro...

To all who stop by here

I've been unable to work on this project for the past month or so. I'm looking forward to returning to it. Soon, I hope! I miss recording!

I have been bedridden with illness for a few weeks. I've been enjoying rehearsing my chapters and hope to record them as soon as I recover. How patient are you?

Please feel free to let someone else record Section 11 Chapter 10. I have been bedridden with illness for a few weeks and do not know when I will be able to continue working on this chapter.

Lomond, you might want to put this project aside and work on something else right now. I might be getting a new mic, which will change the sound, and I'll want to re-record the chapters that I submitted so they all sound the same. I'll let you know...
