Re: New audiobook project from a new member

Okay, that works. :)

I've put out a bat signal for someone to guide you through this. Typically we don't have groups coming in with ready-made readers and projects, so it throws us for a bit of a loop when it happens.

No worries! And absolutely, no shame. :)

The shaming would come in if you didn't say anything but let your claim linger and fester and deteriorate into powder. (OK, not really, but it's fun to say.)

Re: New audiobook project from a new member

Moved this from the Launch Pad.

What text is it? First we need to be sure it's PD (which isn't necessarily the same as copyright-free).

Re: Twain in Catalan: The Awful German Language

Hi, Joan! Umm, unfortunately, we don't record self-translations (or any self-published or unpublished works). Translations are considered a brand new work and don't fall under the same copyright laws as the original work. Here's a link to our text policy: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Re...

Thanks! No problem with the mis-name. The new section 5 will overrule your file. :)

Re: ~[SOLO] The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde - tg

If you were blind and using only the intros/outros to navigate the files, how should they be said to make it easier?

I have not listened to your files. If you say "Section [number]" then you can keep doing that. If you say "Chapter [number]" then say "Chapters 6 and 7"

Re: Solo: THROUGH THE SOUTH SEAS WITH JACK LONDON BY MARTIN JOHNSON

Here's a video made in 2013. A couple things have changed (some items are moved a little bit, some wording has changed a little, and some items are now required that weren't before... and now there's the "copy to clipboard" button when you're done), but the general instructions are the same: https:/...
