Re: [Play] Theft by Jack London-mas

Sorry, I just noticed that I named my file dorsett instead of dowsett. Do I need to upload this again with the right name or can you use what I sent?

Little Leather Library?

Thought book lovers might know something about these. We have a whole box of little red leather books, they are all less than 1/2 inch thick, about 3 in. by 4 in. Most if not all in the public domain, works by Wilde, Emerson, Dickens, Shakespeare, Kipling, etc. Somebody should have these we think. W...

Re: [Play] Theft by Jack London-mas

Thank you. I spotted this in the text. It is marked for Starkweather but I believe the second line is spoken by Senator Dowslett. Could you confirm? {Starkweather} (_Looking first at Connie, then peering into cup of tea. He grunts refusal, and for the first time looks up into the other man's face. H...

Re: [Play] Theft by Jack London-mas

I just noticed you didn't have the role of Senator Dowsett on the list of characters. This is another small one that I can do if you need it. I have the first two done and will upload this morning. Also, reading through some of the play, I noticed that there are several sound effects that seem prett...

Re: [Play] Theft by Jack London-mas

I just read both parts I think. The servant only has about 3 lines and the 1st man not many more. That should be easily doable. I can modulate my voice somewhat as well. Let's see how those 2 parts go and move on from there. Just use my real name, Mike Furbee. I get the parts from the text listed at...

Re: [Play] Theft by Jack London-mas

I just signed up and got my test approved. This would be my first foray. Would it be possible to obtain a very small role or two, such as servant or Man1 or 2 to cut my teeth on? Male voice, older, baritone.

Re: 1 minute test

Do I post the redo in this thread or do I start a new one? Thanks for the listen. I will be changing microphones for the next one, on turning up the volume there were definitely some noise I had not noticed before.

Hello from Central Ohio!

I just found out about this project today from a friend. I am looking forward to it. My screen name, Skygusty, is the name of a tiny coal town in central West Virginia. I always loved the name. It is much more picturesque than the tiny, mostly forgotten and abandoned little town that sits along the ...
