Welcome to Librivox, Meg! Tech specs are fine! Two small issues with the sound, there is some faint background noise, and the volume is somewhat soft. I actually don't hear any static in either recording, but I'll trust you on this; maybe your ears are younger than mine :mrgreen: Volume is much better but still softer (by 4-5 dB) than the target volume level of 89dB.
