Re: Firefox Toolbar Search - anyone game?
I've filed https://github.com/LibriVox/librivox-catalog/issues/16 to track this.

Re: Hoping to help with the code
@notartom is it correct to assume that as far as technical things and github you'd be the best person to stay in touch with (though I recognize your hours are limited)? If so, what's the best way to communicate? (this forum, github, email, some other chat)? Yeah, I'm the only resource for all thing...

Re: Github
... which prompts me to ask, is our code (whatever it does) also in the Public Domain? I believe the requirement of the Melon project was that the code be open source, not necessarily public domain. Was the idea to put it on github for the purpose of soliciting suggestions to improve it? Or was it ...

Re: problems with librivox site
Librivox is using SSL certificates from Let's Encrypt, a fairly new certificate authority that's not supported in Windows XP before Service Pack 3, so I can only assume you're using XP with Service Pack 2 or earlier, which you really shouldn't be using for a variety of reasons unrelated to LibriVox....

Re: New Forums Help Thread
I've noticed that my e-mail notifications are now coming from info@librivox.org, rather than noreply@librivox.org. I had a rule set in yahoo mail to move all my notifications to a folder for review when I had time (so they don't get lost or mixed in with all my other e-mail). Now I need to figure o...

Re: New Forums Help Thread
Regarding the broken smilies, I believe the images really are gone. My guess is that, for the people that can currently see them, you're seeing a cached version on your browser. Using browsers that I've never used to visit the site, I'm getting an HTTP 404 error on addresses to the broken emoji ima...

Re: Site Improvements List - BC/Admin Link
Well, as a web designer myself, I know that as each new page is generated from a template, each one containing the same static links every single time Except here it would be different for every thread, since, for example, https://forum.librivox.org/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=67010 contains a BC Admin li...

Re: Site Improvements List - BC/Admin Link
I see the forums are back up! They will take some getting used to. Does this format change apply to all forums hosted by our forum provider (is it still the phpBB Group)? We don't have a forum provider :) We have 2 servers in Internet Archive's data center, that they lend to us for free, and one gu...

Re: IMPORTANT: LibriVox Planned Shutdown While We Move Serve
Great googly moogly, that sounds like a lot of requests! Thank you, notartom. :-) Yeah, you guys are essentially pigs ;) Praise for Artom from someone outside LibriVox: Hey - we have access to the catalog already, only two days after you started the move to a new server. I understand what that enta...
