It happens. :) Would you like a short extension?
Just a small one, about a week or two just in case would be nice.

I'm just so used to the old system where we didn't have notifications, so sometimes I unsubscribe. Not doing that again

Hey, can I be taken off Emil? Cutting back on some of my LibriVox committments, haven't submitted anything in this regard yet.

Re: FULL [DR] Jack and Jill by Louisa May Alcott - rap

Elijah, I'm going to go ahead and PL the last couple files so you can focus on getting Jack's chapters recorded -- just some PL notes, and you'll be done, too! :) Would you like a short extension? Hey Twinkle, I apparently unsubscribed from this topic, and so I wasn't even being notified about any ...

Re: New feature suggestion: add "rating" from external website, for browsing the catalog

But does that matter really? - our prime directive is to make audiobooks of all public domain books, not just the popular ones. Anne That's a great point, Anne. Also, who is to say one book is better than another one? Everyone has their own tastes and likes different genres of books. I mean, we do ...

Re: Invitation to English Pronunciation Survey

Dear ej400, Thanks for your question. This is a part of my doctoral research on "Phonetic Trends in Global Accents of English." The main purposes of the research are: 1) To describe how the English pronunciation trend has changed over the years 2) To share different varieties of English accents wit...

Re: Video editing software (yes, video)

Hi there! For anyone looking for some software that won't require a lot of hardware resources... I find online video editors are a good alternative! Specifically, I have tried WeVideo (https://www.wevideo.com/), and it worked well for me! (I had previously used Camtasia for a "video project", and i...

Re: Video editing software (yes, video)

Check out Davinici Resolve 15, its almost like Adobe Premiere Pro but its absolutely free! AND it works on most machines so you should have no problems with it if you use Mac or Windows (not sure about Linux tho)! Thank you! I've looked into it. I've heard that Vegas Pro seems to a good one as well...

Re: New A-to-Zed Collection?

The views include calls to the artwork, so it's highly inflated. Honestly, I think it's a (can't think of a better word) silly collection, especially when the letters aren't even part of the title (see the "cheat" on W). But my opinion shouldn't be the determining factor. I think it was sill...

Re: [CHILDREN'S ADVENTURE] Haworth's by Frances Hodgson Burnett - ke

PL note for section 19: There is only a little bit of background noise in the recording. Do you know how to use noise reduction on audacity? If you could remove just a bit of the background noise, it would most certainly be PL OK because your reading was fantastic! :D Keep up the good work, and let...
