Re: [COMPLETE]The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes DR -ke

The torrent file seems to be broken. (The Peers tab just says "file not found on HTTP server" or "Network unreachable (10051)")

Re: Informal survey

I have the three-volume Oxford English dictionary (comes with magnifying glass)
the 2nd, 3rd and 4th editions of the American Heritage Dictionary. (I'm debating buying the 5th edition)
French, Italian, Spanish, Latin and Irish dictionaries.
plus a shelf full of word and phrase origin books.

Re: Way Off Topic: Spreadsheet Formula Help!

OK, so I'm a little late with this. For LibreCalc: (Assuming you don't already have macros attached to the spreadsheet) 1. Open your spreadsheet 2. Tools/Marco/Organize Macros/LibreOffice Basic 3. CLick "New" on dialog. 4. In the editor that opens, paste in the following after the "Sub Main / End Ma...

However, although your vocal performance is absolutely wonderful ( :9: ), the overall sound quality is totally abysmal.
I did run it thru noise reduction -- but I think I may have forgotten to save the last edit.

Anyway, I've run it again, and re-uploaded the file.

Re: [FULL][DR]The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes -ke

Hello I'm new, this is my first recording. I can take section 9! For the catalog just put me as "mboff" "Section 9" isn't a part. It's just a blank line to make the chart easier to read. It says "open" because the system wasn't designed with such blank lines in mind, so every line needs a status, e...

Who the frik are you? Just a person, who, in the past, when the subject of doing another SH collection came up, expressed an interest in being part of it. (then I took a few months away from the website) (In fact, one of my last posts was about SH: https://forum.librivox.org/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=30...

Can I have Lyciscas? (And I promise the stay around long enough the record my part this time...) Also, the MW lists him as in the 1st interlude AND in Act1. I don't see him in Act 1, but Moron, as originally played by Moliere, is in act 1, and I assume he wouldn't be playing two roles in the same act.

Can I have Lawyer 2?

(It's not exactly a Notary, but close enough --- and it rhymes! -- something that's been lacking in our other Moliere recording....)

Cori and I continued to do most of the short story collections - actually there is only one left that we didn’t do, and it was in fact the one with Scandal in Bohemia! Actually, more than that.... Of the 5 collections: - "The Adventures of ..." and "The Memoirs of ..." have collaborative readings, ...

Re: Report On The Investigation Into Russian Interference In The 2016 Presidential Election - tg

21:50 Richard Gates / Richard Oats (I had to giggle at that one  ) It's funny how the tiniest stray mark on a printout can have a big effect on how it's read. I once had the line "Give him air", which really looked like it said "give him sir" (which I thought was a very odd expression...)
