Re: Jack Kerouac

Yes; You Tube

Though if EU Article 13 (IIRC) kicks in YT will lose a lot of content due to copyright

Especially spoofs of TV programmes

Like the kids TV show Peppa Pig being a naughty little pig who doesn't give an oink lol

Time Travel Books

I notice there are often more than one version of a particular book

For example, HG Wells Time Machine

I find it quite refreshing to listen to different narrators reading the same bookl

Jack Kerouac's book On the Road's audio book has been posted on YT

I wouldn't have thought this book was out of copyright

Is it?

Re: Authors Then & Now

Another point Which is more popular? Books (audio or print) or eBooks? Obviously, power cuts favour the good old book, when the eBook battery needs charging Which do you prefer? For me? Authors Then & Now

I've often wondered, are there as many authors nowadays than back in history? Pre radio/TV & definitely the Internet, people had little to do, other than read & write. Also play musical instruments, at family gatherings & procreate lol That's why there was a baby boom during the war lol But anyway W...
