Re: [SOLO] Stephen Mitchell's Journey, by Pansy - tg

I've recorded and edited the next two chapters, but I didn't edit them in front of the mic. Each has a required re-record to do.

So maybe tomorrow...

Re: [GRP] Insomnia Collection Vol. 5 - tg

Yes, excerpts are fine. And it's your choice as to how you want to choose them. :) An hour's recording is about 10,000 words or so, depending on your reading speed. What you could do is just start reading, then when you know you're going to be way over 30 minutes after editing and you're sick and ti...

Re: List of Unrecorded Horror, Ghost Stories and Weird Tales

Not sure when this should be posted, but there's a soloist taking on Guy de M's works in http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/3090 :

It might be wise to wait to strike them off the list, until the project is cataloged.

Section 54:

1:34-1:37 - longish pause with a swallow in it. :)

11:55 - Missing the fallacy number & title: "12 - That home is home though it is never so homely"

Re: [ESSAYS] Elia, and The Last Essays of Elia by Charles Lamb - tg

Section 49:

0:24 - Need the section title: "The Wedding".

16:05 - please delete "End of Elia and the last Essays of Elia by Charles Lamb" - that only goes at the end of the book (in this case, section 58). :)

Re: [ESSAYS] Elia, and The Last Essays of Elia by Charles Lamb - tg

Section 21: 2:34 - repeat: "in your land of... in your land of d-d realities" 4:05 - stumble: "and mops could... could with propriety" 10:50-10:51 - longish pause. (I would give the words, but I don't understand the phrase right before the pause - something about "reconcile us... for their scansion"...

Thanks! I'm working through these files now.

I heard a fallacy from the previous section the other day - might have been the "if you have shelter, food, and love, you have as much as rich folks" fallacy. :)

I have not heard from the readers of 98, 101, 116, 125, 126 for their edits, so I am reopening those Psalms to new readers.

Re: Volunteer hours - how to track and verify

For the record, we won't verify any volunteer hours. You may want to check with your school to determine if any extra time will be credited beyond the run time of the file(s) as shown on the project catalog pages, and if they'll allow hours worked without any other verification or signatures.

Re: [GRP] Insomnia Collection Vol. 5 - tg

Good news and bad news:

The source text is OK, but I really need recordings to be at least 30 minutes.

You could record it, and if it's less than 30 minutes, you could submit it to the Short Nonfiction Collection. Granted, it might be a bit boring for there. :P
