Re: MISSION COMPLETION: Notable Writers w/ Unrecorded Works!

It is a fair assumption. I guess none of us got around to it.

Re: Please listen

Good! Volume is a bit too high now. But as a BC, I'd rather readers' files be a little too loud than too quiet. Numerically, it should be between about 86 and 92 dB. You're at about 93. There's a small program the spouse of a LibriVoxer developed to check the tech settings. If you're game, yo...

Re: MISSION COMPLETION: Notable Writers w/ Unrecorded Works!

We'd need Gutenberg copyright clearance for it, or HathiTrust.

Re: [SOLO] John (YLT) - tg

Yeah, I saw that already. :) Working on it!

BTW, quoting me does nothing in the way of notifying me. I already get notified of new posts in my subscribed threads (and I subscribe to all my MC project threads). I don't have that "notify me when someone quotes me" feature turned on. ;)

Re: ~[FULL/One-Act Zoom Play] Retained for the Defense, by John Oxenford - tg

I've assembled the play with what I have so far. All lines submitted so far are PL OK, aside from Agatha's (need a fresh copy of the recording as per PM). So far so good...

(It was fun to hear the under-the-breath laughter in some of the Zoom submissions. ;))

Re: [SOLO] Stephen Mitchell's Journey, by Pansy - tg

I had planned on recording more earlier this week but got too busy with other things. But yes - when it looks like you haven't listened yet, I do feel a bit less pressure. ;)

Re: [ESSAYS] Elia, and The Last Essays of Elia by Charles Lamb - tg

Section 50 is PL OK. The recording is really muffled, and in the second half or so I hear what I think might be noise cleaning artifacts (little gremlins in the audio left over from noise reduction). I would suggest that if you are enjoying recording and plan to do it longer term, perhaps invest in ...

Thanks! I'll PL 50 some time today, and you're in for 49. If you click on your name in the Magic Window (and open the link in a new tab), it'll take you to your reader page.
