Re: Audacity and Catalina

Updating messes around with plug-in locations, and some manual tidying up is needed. See https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_and_updating_audacity_on_mac_os_x.html

Re: Invitation to English Pronunciation Survey

Hi Noriko-san, thank you for the £5 Amazon voucher. Most unexpected!

My wife would like to help you out, as well. I've sent her the link.

Re: OPEN[PLAY]Tragedy of Tragedies: Tom Thumb by Fielding - thw

I'd be happy to stage direct. Not that there's much to do in the play itself without the footnotes, but somebody has to get their mind round all the Latin quotes in the preface.

Re: ~OPEN[PLAY]Tragedy of Tragedies: Tom Thumb by Fielding - thw

Oh, this is hilarious! I don't know yet in what capacity I'll be participating, but rest assured, I will be! For now, I will commence lurking. Think you should do the Queen. Then (on p55) you get the immortal line: Queen [ aside ]: " __________________________*. Oh! ye gods! " Which is footnoted: *...

Re: COMPLETE: [SOLO] Maud, and Other Poems by Alfred Tennyson - lny

Thanks, they were added later. Didn't realise that the system only picks up keywords that are typed in right at the start of the project. :? I'll remember that for the future.

Keywords that describe the book:
brook
charge
light brigade
wellington
will
letters
daisy
maurice

Looks good. Thanks Linette!

Edit: Ah, I see that all of the keywords seem to have gone missing. Can't see them anywhere on the Internet Archive page

There's absolutely no problem, and I'd be very pleased to have you!

Be aware, though, that the preface is very much a product of the English religious turmoils at the time, and there are some pretty strong anti-Catholic sentiments in there

Thank you.

Yes, I did that, too. Also spent hours trying to follow though the tables to work out the date of Easter day. Never did get it, as it seems to rely on the date of the full moon – not the real moon but a fictitious Paschal Moon :?
