Re: Unable to login!

https://librivox.org/auth/login is the login to the database. You will not have a login for that until you are either co-ordinating a project yourself or you have been entered as the Dedicated Proof Listener for a project (DPL: someone who has committed to listening to all sections of a project and ...

Re: [SOLO] The Fourth Dimension - Hinton - RuthieG

I'm not quite as stupid as I was yesterday, but still pretty dim. It seems likely that A1 and B1 is intended. However, in this edition , it is printed as "Thus A and B would be identified" with no superscript at all. I can't quite read the date on this one, but it appears to be 190x, i.e. earlier th...

Re: [SOLO] The Fourth Dimension - Hinton - RuthieG

Peter, I will look at this tomorrow morning, but you really don't want any interpretation of mine today. I couldn't even interpret Janet and John today. Promise I will be better tomorrow.

Re: ~ Children's Short Works Collection Vol. 023 - RuthieG

Sorry, Tony, I had missed your second submission. Now added to MW.

Section 3 is a completed section from an abandoned project that is about to be deleted. It has already been proof-listened, so I have rescued it for inclusion in this collection.

Re: [SOLO] The Fourth Dimension - Hinton - RuthieG

Now that I can relate to. I'm not sure I shall ever be able to get my head around the concept of four dimensions anyway, but I doubt using three dimensional objects to visualise the fourth would actually help me. Keep up the good work! I will be back with you as soon as I can. I have had computer pr...

Re: [OPEN]Short Story Collection Vol. 064 - RuthieG

Thank you Erin, Craig and Tony for all your contributions. Special thanks to Dave for keeping things going. I'm afraid I have been hors de combat (or my computer has, at least). ryfink: An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge will be just fine :). It's been recorded quite a few times, but don't let that p...

Re: ~[SHORT STORIES] Ruby Wedding Collection - ruthieg

Here's another, and this one is even sillier than the others ;). Appropriate perhaps, as 40 years of marriage tends to addle the brain.

My great-great-grandfather was a policeman in the Saffron Walden area... until he got himself into trouble for being drunk on duty.

Re: Need help with English accent

Odd county, Essex... stretches more or less from the East End of London to rural yokeldom. If I tried to do it, I'd come out sounding west country, so I won't attempt to help ;).
