Re: [Folklore] British Goblins by Wirt Sikes - darv

real name works, for the catalog! (it's Amelia Chesley)
they look like short sections, so I'll probably be able to do 17, too. consider it claimed.

and thanks for checking my test recording!

Re: [Folklore] British Goblins by Wirt Sikes - darv

awesome-- it looks like sections 9 and 11 are ready for listening, so I will jump in with those this weekend.

and I would definitely love to read a section too, eventually. my test recording isn't officially okayed yet, so I might need to do more fiddling before I'm ready to record.

does this project need proof listeners, still?
I would love to claim a few sections, to start off my LibroVoxing in earnest.

I also am hoping to start on some proof listening-- so I could claim some of these sections, too. it seems like a really fun book.

Re: Hello from Wisconsin

hey, welcome fellow gradstudent!
I think that's awesome you've been recording your own readings. the idea of having audioversions of some of my course readings is one reason I'm here, too.

Re: Fan made Reader!

that's so cool. I made use of LibriVox recordings for class readings too. we did Hume and Locke and all those guys last semester, and it was really nice to put on the audio while I was cooking or whatever else.

does this grad student have time for Librivox?

hello all. I registered a bit ago during my winter break. I've been shy about actually saying hello, but here I am at last. I have always loved reading aloud to my brothers and roommates and friends, so this massive community-driven audiobook project has been intriguing to me for ages and ages. and ...
