Re: How dramatic should the voices in my narrating be?

View as a listener - I don't think you should over dramatise the parts - save that for the drama groups or solos. If the voices change when reading do it - I don't know anyone who could read the 3 Bears without changing voices for the Bear family but for groups just read naturally.

I've used various in the reading instructions for the author and file name to prevent the file names being too long and the reading too monotonous
Files have a maximum length of about 70 minutes and shorter ones can be combined if wanted.

I'll set up the project then - back soon ...... It is set up - I'm seeking advice about the entry for the author in our database so look but don't change files for the moment. We need to know about the reader in relation to the project - is it to be under your forum name or what ? And we do need to ...

Re: Misspelled word - Life in a Medieval City

As a covermaker I would just point out that typing diphthongs is almost impossible :D. (I use diphthong so rarely I thought I should check it out - which was just as well - I seem to pronounce it dipthong whereas it should be dif-thong  )

Re: Discussion about transitioning to the opus voice codec

Archive may have a discussion running there. They have a number of forums, but that is the place to discuss it , if they don't support it we can't use it.

I didn't mention M4Bs because I thought they had to be downloaded? And the IP didn't want to store them - but maybe they don't :hmm:

You are right to some extent, most people who move a distance do so for a reason often war but my mainly English and Irish ancestors would be surprised to know that my nieces and nephews have Srilaken, Argentinian, and Taiwanese born partners.

Re: Playing the entire book with one button

Another way is to stream them from the Internet Archive page - there is a gap between files but it does work. There is a link to the Archive page on every LV catalogue page.
