Re: FULL[PLAY] Belinda: an April Folly, by A.A. Milne - thw

Hi Lynette, I know you are recovering from Covid, but I wanted to let you know that due to health reasons I will not be able to continue PLing this project when you are able to resume. This is such a great play, and I know it will turn out wonderfully. Thanks for letting me listen! Hi Campbell, tha...

Section 4 is PL OK

She does have a very engaging style, doesn't she? Also, I've read several Lincoln biographies, and she's including anecdotes I was not yet familiar with. Very enjoyable.

And yes - Tom Hanks, the actor, is a cousin. I went and looked after the last section.

Re: ~ FULL [DRAM.READ] Wives and Daughters, E Gaskell - m8b1

Here is Narrator ch. 53: https://librivox.org/uploads/m8b1/wivesanddaughtersdr_53_narrator_128kb.mp3 (22:17) Another one, Linny, with places of note: at 10:44, it seemed better for the coachman's answer, "Not till four o'clock" to be read by a character other than the narrator. I had Scott read that...

Re: [FULL] DR - The Bat (novel), by Mary Roberts Rinehart-mas

Hi, Tommy! Nice to "see" you :) Yes, fortunately your absence coincided with difficulties on my end, too (and other readers), so there's been no problem of waiting. I'm wrapping up a couple of narrator parts that have been waiting specifically on me, and then I'll be back over here to hit the narrat...

Re: FULL [DR] Little Men by Louisa May Alcott - rap

Chapter 12 will take a little longer for me to produce - it's twice as long to read in (I've broken it into thirds for that, since my voice is still not its strongest), which means longer editing, too. I should have it in by Friday, maaaaybe Thursday.

Re: [BIOGRAPHY] The Life of Abraham Lincoln by Ida Tarbell -jo

Oh, good. :) - It takes me a good 2-3 hours to edit a 25-30 minute file, so I don't feel so bad anymore, knowing your sections take work, too. I was thinking, "it must be the years of teaching that yield such smooth recordings." I forgot to say on section 2 that the elopement story he concocte...

Re: SOLO The Flight of the Heron by D. K. Broster-mas

Editing can be a drag - mine are extra cumbersome right now. The post-Covid stuff makes me super breathless, so I have a ton of excessive breaths to take out between phrases. At least my voice is almost normal again.
