Re: [Group] The Miracles of Our Lord by George MacDonald - t

Thanks both. I'm still a newbie and trying to get a feel for how long it takes me to get files done but I'd certainly like to end up doing more. Re: [Group] The Miracles of Our Lord by George MacDonald - t

May I go for sections 6 and 7 then please? I was going to suggest the next available one but there seems sense in not splitting chapters between readers if you don't have to.

Thank you!

May I ask a naive question? I was going to volunteer to read some of this but wasn't sure whether your comment...

Re: [WEEKLY POETRY] The Conscientious Deacon by V. Lindsay -

I'm not sure about the syncopation - I was trying to beat time with my foot to talk on the offbeats until I realised there was a dull thud throughout the recording. I'm not sure I've kept the rhythm so well without the noisy timekeeper! http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/rg/conscientiousdeacon...

Re: [MULTILINGUAL] LibriVox 8th Anniversary Collection - rg

If the Henry the Eighth interpretation of the number 8 hasn't been overdone, I'm happy to have a shot at The Love Letters of Henry VIII to Anne Boleyn by...well...Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/32155/32155-h/32155-h.htm The text on Project Gutenberg includes extensive not...

Re: [WEEKLY POETRY] Mastery by Sara Teasdale - rg

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback Ruth. I think the compression helps a great deal so I'll go off and do a bit of experimenting - we'll see if next week's submission sounds any better! :) Since I've used my real name on the track I may as well use it on the catalogue page too - it's Paul Mazu...

Re: [WEEKLY POETRY] Mastery by Sara Teasdale - rg

Yet another first-timer! Here's mine: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/rg/mastery_teasdale_pm.mp3

To my ears the sibilants are very noticeable. Any tips?
