COMPLETE England, My England by D.H. Lawrence - dc
And now Part Two of S & D posted. I ought to have said in relation to Pt 1 as well as this Pt that I am not capable of adopting an appropriate West of England accent and I drift into something which is more Irish than English. I hope that you will be tolerant of this failing!

I've noticed that with part 2's you don't give the chapter title. It's optional and you have bee consistent. As to accents...I kid myself into believing I can distinguish between Glasgow and Edinburgh Scottish accents but that's the extent of my knowledge of regional UK accents. As long as you are consistent for each character I think most listeners will be satisfied.

Re: I can trace my ancestry only back to Belfast. Everyone assumes we were originally from Scotland. Sadly a trip to Scotland I had planned last spring had to be cancelled and it looks like it will be next year before I can reschedule it.

Here is a video showing you how to amplify a file. You need to lower the volume so instead of a positive number you would use a negative number (maybe around -18).

edit: My efforts to lower the volume of your file succeeded but produced a file that had audio distortion. If you have the same experience, I (sadly) would suggest you record the chapter again. If you are concerned that the volume again will too high, just record the first few minutes and I can check it.
