Thanks, MGVestal!

edited to add: There is some voice distortion in your file, and noise cleaning or other processing can be one of the causes of that. Do you still have your "raw" unprocessed version, if you did do some cleaning? If so, would you upload that one for us as well? Thanks! It's PL OK otherwise!

Certainly, arcticfox, and thanks for volunteering! Just check out all the information in the first post for instructions on how to name your file etc, and when you send your recording, let me know how you'd like to be credited in our catalog. (We only have to enter this once, then it's set for the future.) Looking forward to hearing you!

Here is the file for the voice parts of Clitus:

I wish I had more time to contribute to this project, but being a "too-many-irons-in-the-fire" type, I have too much else to do. Best of fortune with this noble and awesome project!!

That's great, arh! Two files, please -- it'll be easier for aradlaw when he edits to have them separate. Thanks!

Thank you arh, you need to look at your settings, the files were very low volume and had a distinct hum when amplified.

The reading was good though and fortunately, Audacity processing makes them usable.

- Check both the volume sliders in Audacity and in your computer's Control Panel / Sound and Audio Devices.
- Also try your mic plugged into the back plugs if they are not already.

Welcome, wp, all yours! Be sure to look at all the recording specifications in the first post of the thread, both above and below the Magic Window, and when you send your recording please let me know how you'd like to be credited in the catalog. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Crowd noises are not necessary but you are welcome to supply them if you like! Just be aware that they have to be sounds you produce yourself, and don't have them overlying your lines at all in case we don't end up using them.

"and when you send your recording please let me know how you'd like to be credited in the catalog."

It's fine to credit me as 'wimberprincess!'
thanks!
I'm uploading as soon as I download Lame for Audacity. ^_^
this is fun!
I think some of my inflections may be off-- you didn't want me to try to read it in iambic pentameter or anything, did you? I hope not...

When I said 'crowd noises' I was referring to All and Several Citizens, not actual crowd noises... :D
Though it might be fun to record the lines in a couple different voices and combine them! Too late now, I suppose!
