Something odd seems to have happened to my volume for a couple of recordings but it seems to be OK now. Section 13 is recorded and just needs editing but volume seems to have been corrected - thanks for the PL!

Hi,

I'd like to volunteer to do section 8, however, I see that the projected completion date was March 31, 2011. So can I take that section, and what would the due date be?

I did my test reading, the thread is here: http://forum.librivox.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=32771

I checked out your test recording and gave it a passing grade. :D You are now assigned section 8. We also need to know how you would like your name to appear in the finished project. You can use your screen name, your real name, a nickname, pretty much whatever. We can also list the URL to a personal webpage if you have one of those.

The completion date is something that is posted as a target date to shoot for in getting the project done. It is arbitrary and really not that important. What is more important is that the reader is given 2 months from the day they ask to do a section to get it done; after the 2 months is up and if the section has not been turned in, they may be removed from the project and the section orphaned for someone else to claim. Of course, we really do appreciate sections getting done as soon as possible; the 2 months is given since some people do a lot of recording so they are allowed more time to "catch up" on claimed sections.

Let us know if you have any questions.

I'd like to do 21 if it's still open, and maybe some others after.

It looks like a pretty hard reading, though.

I'm so sorry but I am going to both my chapters back in the pool. It was just too difficult to read with all the foreign name references. I really don't need challenges right now.

So sorry
