Tricia,

I just noticed the file name for Fog is incorrect. Can you fix this, or do you want me to upload the file with the correct name.

Sorry about that.

The Leap of Roushan Beg -
Got an uppercase L in Longfellow in file name

To Mary -
1:12 - Read "the watery bow" with "bow" like a bend at the waist. I think it's talking about a rainbow. Just an FYI.

Vitae summa brevis spem nos vetat incohare longam - OK

After great pain, a formal feeling comes -
1:00 - right at the end of the final disclaimer is a scratching sound

ON LAUNCHING SOME BOTTLES FILLED WITH KNOWLEDGE INTO THE BRISTOL CHANNEL. -
ID tags: title all in caps; no birth/death date in author field

How Can I Keep from Singing -
I doubt the verse by Doris Penn is Public Domain (it was written in 1956). This version (the wording of the other verses) is different than the PD version here: http://www.hymntime.com/tch/htm/h/c/a/hcaikeep.htm

I seriously question whether this can be included in the catalog.

Death of an Infant - OK

Oh, oh, you will be sorry for that word - OK

Barter - OK

THE SAME OLD STORY -
ID tags - author name misspelled, no birth/death date. No album ID tag

0:05-0:18 - standard LV disclaimer; please use the shortened disclaimer described in first post

0:35 - read "the pleading tone of her trembling voice" should be "of A trembling voice"

PAUL REVERE'S RIDE -
I found a text here: http://www.theatlantic.com/past/docs/issues/1861jan/paulrev.htm but it's slightly different as noted below.

Recording in stereo; should be mono.

File name incorrect. Should be paulreveresride_longfellow_tb.mp3

ID tags wrong

0:00 - starts with LV disclaimer. Please use wording in first post.

Recording seems very quiet, although it reads at 87 dB. Sound is very quiet (almost inaudible), then very loud. I did a "Heavier" leveler on it and still had problems hearing in parts.

2:17 - different wording "then he climbed the tower of the Old North Church / By the wooden stairs" where my text has "Then he climbed to the tower of the church / UP the wooden stairs"

2:39 - different wording "By the trembling ladder, steep and tall" whereas I have "Up the light ladder, slender and tall"

5:19 - read "Struck out by a steed flying fearless and fleet" whereas I have "Struck out by a steed that flies fearless and fleet"

5:37-6:00 - this text isn't in my copy

6;16 - Read "that rises after the sun goes down" my version has "that rises WHEN the sun goes down"

6:22 - read "when he galloped into Lexington" my version has "when he rode into Lexington"

8:31 - wrong outro. Should be simply, "end of poem. This recording is in the public domain."

11 seconds of silence at end; only needs 5.

FOG -
just the glitch in the file name.

THE LADY OF SHALOTT -
Many plosives throughout where your breath directly hits the microphone. Move the mic to the side of your mouth so your breath doesn't hit the mic directly.

I recommend a re-read, but if you and JC are OK with all the plosives, here are other things:

4:59 - read "Moves still over Shalott" should be "Moves over still Shalott"

6:27 - read "seeking all his own mischance" should be "Seeing"
By John Muir: Our National Parks
Bulwer-Lytton novel: The Caxtons
New York scenes, 1897: Darkness and Daylight

Goblin Market -

ID tags need spaces

0:00 - Used standard book disclaimer; use disclaimer stated in first post.

6:36 - read "but ever in the moonlight" should be "noonlight"

12:28 - read "watched for a waking shoot" should be "waxing"

12:54 - a click in the recording

15:18 - read "pears red with the basking" should be "red with basking" (no "the")

16:18 - a skip in the recording

22:49 - a mic bump

23:30 - "and win the fiery antidote" - up to you, but you said "feery" instead of "fiery" (fire-y)

23:57 - should be just "end of poem. This recording is in the public domain."

About 8 seconds of silence at end; only needs 5.

There's copyright information in the link provided, if you scroll down a bit.

I tracked down the court case, to verify that the ruling applies to the US.
http://caselaw.findlaw.com/us-2nd-circuit/1336729.html
We conclude that Seeger's publication, with Plenn's authorization, in a manner that did not comply with the statutory requirement, placed Plenn's third verse in the public domain.
The ruling places Penn's verse in the public domain.

I think it's OK, but if you're uncomfortable, we could get an opinion from the admin population.
