Hee - thanks for the links, Arielle! I'm suspicious of new musicals these days - but who knows if it won't be another My Fair Lady?

I saw the play here in Houston a few months ago and was intrigued by it but not completely satisfied by the production. So naturally I thought exploring it futher via LV was the way to go...

James Morrell is now PL OK! :D

Not a single thing to put a finger on in act 3, acts 1 and 2 spot-checked and now equally perfect.

Thanks for the speedy PL, Anne. I appreciate it.

Update: I've recorded the narration, so I'm marking that complete. I won't inflict on you to PL, Katine, as I've cut out a lot of it and I think it would be difficult to follow and PL effectively. So I'm not uploading the files - I'll just keep them on my computer to use when we get to the editing stage.

Here's Eugene:

Hope he's okay - as usual, I'm...insecure? Anyway, feel free to let me know. Also if the accent is terrible or wavers (almost guaranteed), feel free to shout, anyone.

Thanks, mb! Well, poor Eugene is rather insecure, so I'm sure it'll work beautifully. :)

Here’s the rest of Burgess:

Act 2 - 8:55
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/ek/candida_burgess_2.mp3

Act 3 - 1:40
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/ek/candida_burgess_3.mp3

I hope I got the accent right. I thought that I was doing reasonably well until I came across the word “summat.” However, Burgess doesn’t sound like a Geordie.

Cheers

Algy

Here's Candida! I was a moron and uploaded the first two files to my own folder...I didn't bother reuploading to yours so as to save server space.
