Oh great! I'm just getting ready to leave the office. I'll have something for the commute tonight.

I listened to the Caldron while driving to my mom's last weekend - it is also PL OK.

Thanks, MaryAnn :).

Here's another - I liked this one, and rather wallowed in it, I'm afraid .

No promises, but trying to complete this to help the 10,000 target in a small way. Section 4 up.

Ruth,
Section 4 is PL OK. Thanks for posting 5 . . . you kinda left me hanging there! Good thing I can now resolve the suspense!

MaryAnn, I have cheated a bit and uploaded a couple of short poems in place of long stories (which weren't very good stories anyway). I should be able to manage what's left over the next few days, but I have ditched the song as it just sounded too dismal.

Thanks for the heads up. I had looked at the song and wondered . . . Dismal? Yes. And why call it Ruby if you don't mention said woman's name until verse 2?

If it's all right with you, I'll have some time in the car on Friday night (driving to see mom) and can get caught up listening then. I'm trying to spend my PL time at home listening to my own sections . . .in case they need edits before I submit them for PL. Difficult to do that type of PLing while driving, much easier (and safer) to have you read to me.

I'll be glad when we get past the Anniversary and I can return to my normal, plodding pace for reading and submitting sections.

Thank you, MaryAnn. One more up, and one left to do. I cannot say that anything I am recording sounds very inspired. I do hope I get my 'mojo' back soon.

Thanks, MaryAnn. I have uploaded the last sections, after chopping and changing yet again. The last one is so short that it barely counts, but the words seemed right to finish it off.

Ruth,

I finished the black prince last night on my way home, and then the poems this morning. I loved the Ruby-crowned Kinglet! And, yes, that last one is a satisfying way to end it. So, you are ready to catalog!

If you're reading anything else in the future, would be happy to listen along. I will listen regardless, it's just a question of when.

Hope you have a bit of rest and calm from the bustle of life today.
