Edward Clayton and sister Anne.
Along with Section 02, story really moves along.

PL Notes Dred 3

Didn't realize Clayton had been knowing Nina for quite a while. That helps explain their closeness in Chapters 10-14 which I just recorded. Just goes to confirm it's a little crazy to read a later chapter without knowing what went on before or who the characters really are.

A few things that stick out in your reading:

1:00 punctilious, you say puctilus
3:32 unseen magnet, you say maggot
7:42 unreservedly corresponded with his sister, unreservedly corresponded is garbled.
18:22 "There's a great difference between a man's wanting a woman to love him, and loving her." I think the underlined part of this sentence puts the emphasis in the wrong places). Listen again and see what you think.

All else is ok. Good job!

Section 15 - Ch. 15 Mr. Jekyl's Opinions

Mr. Jekyl and the scurrilous Tom illustrate the age-old aphorism "The Law is a Ass".

Your recitation is remarkable... AND error free!

Therefore: PL OK!

Congratulation!

Hello! I've been reading this book with interest. I'd like to do part 25. This is my first recording so I hope that's not too ambitious; I've been practicing and working on getting a decent relationship with my microphone.

Hello, Antsy. Welcome to Librivox. I presume you have received your Welcome Letter. If not you can read it here:
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=36743

Before recording on any Librivox project, we request you to submit a 1 minute test. As explained in that letter, this is not a "talent audition" but helps us help you set up the parameters of your recording software correctly to meet LV specifications. Once you submit your test and it receives an OK from one of our admins, you are ready to begin.
Thanks for volunteering, and wishing you every success! Come back to me after your test is OK'd.

Section 16 is uploaded. Milly's Story

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/dred_16_hbstowe_128kb.mp3 40:48

This is a very sad story. I marvel that while this is a novel and Stowe manages to keep it moving forward as such, she wrote it primarily as a vehicle to expose the economic motivations, horrors and psychological complexities of slavery as practiced in 18th century America. She is a brilliant author!
