Sec 15 notes:

The sound is greatly improved in this recording, and I do understand why you wanted to rerecord the whole thing over as we had sound issues throughout the previous recording.

I will just mention that at 15:49 where you said "...the shaft discarded" should be "the shaft discharged"

At the end, please add 1 second so that we have a total of 5 seconds at the end.

Finally, please keep in mind that your volume, at 86.2, is at the lowest end of the acceptable range (86-92), so that we can't go any lower.

Thank you for your effort!

Very nicely read :D

I do have a couple of notes, and they are easy to fix:

8:35 "such providing..." should be "such proving"

At the end, there should be a full 5 seconds of silence.
Please just be aware that your volume is at the very top end of the acceptable range (86-92), so we have to be careful not to let it get any higher in future.
Hi Rita,
Thanks for the PL. I have made the corrections as per the above. Please confirm if it is okay now. Here is the link:

PL notes on Section 30

Thank you Ritu for your recording, which was lovely but was very low in volume at 82.3. This is below the acceptable range of 86-92, but is easily fixable. Not sure if you are using the Volume Checker (link: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker) before submitting your file, which checks all your settings and lets you know how your volume is doing.

Adjustments to volume can be made in a few ways: Using the Audacity program, you can highlight the passage (or entire text) you want to amplify, click on Effects (at the top) and choose Amplify. Experiment with that a bit and you'll find the right volume. You could try it with a sample text first. The second option to adjusting volume is also within Audacity, but on the left side. You'll see a mute button with a sliding scale below it. Highlight your text and click on that box. Again, you can check your volume with the Checker until you get it where you want it to be. I like to simply use that sliding scale to ramp up or down where I want my volume to be. I experimented with your file and found that if I slide the scale up to +8, I can get it to about 89 which is about perfect.

A couple of other things:

At :20, please insert "part II, chapter XVI"

At the end, "part II, chapter XV" should be "part II, chapter XVI"

Hello readers,
Looks like there are a scant few sections left to be read and posted. Please do realize that the untended sections will be considered orphaned and listed as open on 12/5/20.

PL notes for section 32:

Volume is at 85.2, below the acceptable range (see post above), and we have just one note at 6:42: "sometimes there.." should be "something there..." Everything else is fine
