Ch 1
The volume is too low at 79.2dB. We look for 89dB, but can accept 86-92. The amplify effect won't work for you as you have peaks. I recommend applying the compressor effect. You can use it up to 3 times before it no longer has any effect, but each time you use any post-processing effect, the sound quality deteriorates a little. It takes quite a few for the human ear to detect the change, but your best bet for future recordings is to increase your input volume. At the top right of the Audacity screen, there is a mic icon. Play around with the slider until you get to the best level for your voice.

At the end, please say "end of chapter 1" and leave a full 5 seconds of silence.

The reading was clear and well-paced, with good expression

I recorded the end after increasing the input volume. I definitely see what you mean about post-processing effects deteriorating the sound quality. Hopefully the changes were effective and did not make it sound too much like I was recording from the bottom of a well. Please let me know if I need to change or fix anything. Chapter 1
You have over-corrected and it is now too loud. Please reduced the volume by about 5dB (amplify by -5)

I was just looking around for a DPL project and saw that this one had a "~" in front of the title and that you seem to be PLing the recent ones, and was wondering if you wanted a hand or if you were having just too much fun.

Hi,
I can't upload my recording because of the error. It always shows "SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0."
