In the meantime, would you be willing/able to write up a summary/introduction for the catalog that is not from Wikipedia? They aren't PD, so we try to avoid directly quoting them. :)

Here it is:

Nils Holgersson is a boy who would rather cause trouble than be responsible. One day as he is skipping out on going to church he captures an elf. His treatment of this small creature provokes it to transform him into an elf as well. Along with his greatly reduced size this also gives him the ability to talk with animals.
Following this mishap Nils joins one of his family’s geese as it accompanies a flock of its wild brethren on their migration. During his travels over the many historical areas of Sweden Nils has many adventures that help him to become a better person. He also learns that if he can prove he has changed for the better he may be able to regain his normal size.

In starting to prep these for cataloging, I see that a lot of them have very low volumes - 81-85 dB.

They'll need compression (to get the peaks down so they can be amplified) and amplification. Ideal is 89, but anything consistent between about 87-91 is good.

Are you able to do this? I suppose I could do it myself, but it would involve downloading them all, then working on them in Audacity and re-uploading.

Thanks for all your time on it Dulcamara.

Tricia, I can compress and amplify them but I can't see the final result. I am using a chromebook and have not been able to find any volume checker that works on it. As an alternative, if you can let me know what the volume is on then I can easily amplify them by whatever amount is needed. I am wiling to do whichever approach would work best.
