I have ordered a new one. Then comes the fun of restoring most things. I just hope I can recover stuff from the old HD .

Oh, I feel your pain, David. I hope you' ll be able to retrieve your files.
My computer (or I should say Windows) gave up on me last summer. It was a black screen of death. I hadn't backed up files for a while and feared I had lost them. Then, a friend suggested I use a bootable Linux USB stick to access the files on my HD. It worked and I could recover everything. After that, I ended up installing one of Linux's distributions on that computer and it worked again. It was "bye, bye Windows" for me.

Of course, I was just kidding about the "reparation / compensation".
Since I had some time, I just wanted to get it done today so that I can start other projects. :)

That is okay, the rest are all PL OK, but I noticed a background hum in them all. I do not remember a hum in the first batch. During the time my computer was down I was PLing on my tablet with a different sound.
It was good to see that even though the stories were condensed, the author included the thieves during the crucifixion.

Merci, merci, David ! :D
I'll check the hum with better headphones. I've moved around a bit between the previous batches and this weekend's so, it's possible the microphone picked something new and noise reduction didn't reduce it like the others.

Hi David,

I listened to a sample of each of the 35 files and, actually, I hear a strongish hum in sections 1, 2, 5 especially the 1rst.
I've tried reducing the noise again but feel like it makes it worse overall so, I will leave it as is.

Thanks for prooflistening for me again!
See you around!

PS : yes, it's nice that the thieves were included at the crucifixion and Jesus's mercy for one.
