Hi,

That will be fine. Just submit them when they are ready. No need to claim in a collection like this. :-)

Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to Librivox! You did a lovely job! :-)

There are some things that need to be fixed, however.

First in the recording itself, there are a few mistakes that need to be snipped out.

@1:00 you said "to ge....to gather"
@2:18 "overhead....overheard"
@3:52 "bees....beans"

The bolded parts need to be removed in all three instances. :-)

Then there are some technical issues that need to be fixed.

The recording is in stereo, and we need it to be in MONO.
The bit rate is 92kbps and variable, and we need it to be 128kbps and constant.
Also, the volume is too low and needs to be amplified about 9 DB.

Here is a video on how to set up the tech specs in Audacity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l00VDvGTieg&feature=youtu.be
One specifically on the bit rate: https://youtu.be/K2JWKadgtdE
One on Stereo to Mono: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lmx0q7IfLiw&feature=youtu.be
And a video on amplifying: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_z607awyLw

And just for good measure, a link to all the instructional videos! https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Instructional_Videos

And one last thing, when you reupload the file please name it as follows: csw045_talepeterrabbit_je_128kb.mp3

If you could fix these and reupload, that would be great! :thumbs:

Hi Jenny,

Thank you! Everything is good, except the volume is too low. If you could amplify it by about 7 DB, and reupload, that would be great!

Also, did you see the corrections needed for your other story? You can find them here: viewtopic.php?p=1897130#p1897130
