This is my recording of the poem:

https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/mindofman_shelley_rgs_128kb.mp3

Is "eer" pronounced like "ear" or "ere" as in "hair"?

Please credit me as SkyborneLove. Additional URL: https://www.youtube.com/user/MoroFullmetal/videos

And I have a question: are we allowed to change our LV catalog URL or name later?

This is also my first recording. Excitement!! :)

Thank you!

This recording is 1:10.

Welcome to LibriVox SkyborneLove, good first reading, there are a few tech specs to correct, I will refer you to your i minute test notes left by Michele.. viewtopic.php?p=1862648#p1862648
Our instructions mention the .5 - 1 minute opening silence.
You did pronounce err correctly. :D

Hello. This is my file. 1 min 25 sec.

https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/mindofman_shelley_FO_128kb.mp3
Thank you Fernando, good reading :) , just a couple of items to point out...
- the volume is low at 83.6 dB, you should aim for your waveforms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:

Image

You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK) (all the other tech specs are there also)
- the filename needs to be all lowercase
- please include the file duration with your upload link

Welcome to Librivox Maya :D good first reading, but there a couple of comments...
- the specs are good, but the volume is a little low at 83 dB, you should aim for your waveforms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:

Image

You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK) (all the other tech specs are there also)
- the are 'bumping' sounds throughout the recording, are you using a headset mic?
- there is a 2 second gap at 0:30 with the bump sounds, as well as some 'bumps' and a buzz in the ending silence. Stuff like this can be dealt with when you review your reading before uploading, all part of the process
A lot to learn, I know, but soon you will be an expert. :D
(if you upload a newer file, please use the same filename, the older one gets renamed.)
