good morning,

thank you so much for participating in this project kathrine!
i was sinking in and listening and enjoying...

one little remark for section 19:
10:45 "womanly divinity womanly dignity" should be the white hand; the womanly dignity
i thought over it... and i will mark this pl ok! the message is clearly ok in that engagement talk :-)
in case you want to correct that, i will happily spot pl your file - but please do tell me a short hint.

thank you!

cheers,

Hi,
Here's Section 24.
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/laydownyourarms_24_suttner_128kb.mp3 (09:18)

Thanks!
good morning tracey,

(again...:-))

thank you for your recording!
it is rare, that i cease to follow the text because the reading is so very well to understand ad so easy to follow..
you were able to do that!
thank you!

pl result is checker and pl ok!

i do have two remarks, though:
1. at the beginning of a recording, we have a very short silenceperiod.
the instructions in the first post tell us the standard settings ~ 0,5-1 seconds.
your beginning silence is 1,5 seconds.. which is quite long. as a rule of thumb it should be like: you press the play button and the recording should begin within a heartbeat.
no problem this time, no need to correct that!
2. our intros have a standardized text withthelegal disclaimer and.. you have read the www.librivox.org link including the www.
no problem at all - but it is more work to read it.
so, next time: librivox.org is ok to read :-)

thank you so much!
i have to admit, since i have some english texts in my claims lists: that was a motivating pl for me!

cheers

Hello! I just finished Section 26 of Lay Down Your Arms! I hope my pronunciations are satisfactory, if not, I'd be happy to try again. Here is the link:
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/laydownarms_26_suttner_128kb.mp3 (08:29)

This is my first official recording so let me know if I did something incorrectly/need to fix anything. Thank you!!

heyho

thank you for your recording!
will do :-)

as a first feedback: you don't have to use the [url] tags - the forum software will convert it automatically!
it is easier for you and easier to copy, when using the quoted text.
8-)

pl will follow, but maybe not today.

thank you once again,
greetings from tyrol :D

heyho,

such an untypical chapter part - and your reading was absolutely on spot and making the whole history lesson interesting and absurd at its best!

there is nothing more to say than: thank you, 26 is checker and pl ok!

oh this is to say:
i hope you liked recording! there are many more sections to claim (whereever your interest leads you) :D

heyho,

to add to my shame, i have forgotten to mention a pl note, which is quite important:

at the end of a recording, we always say "end of section [number]".
that is our standard - and the few lines after the intro-parts are very easy to miss while reading the instructions in the first post...

otherwise, the recording sounds way better to me and was pl ok, already.
please, glennster, add the few words before the ending silence - i apologize for not making that pl note!

thank you!

cheers,
wolfi
hi glennster,

the outro is missing, still - and it is my fault, also.
but it would be a fast edit, which is necessary!
can you, please, correct that?
do you want to correct it?
thx for your answer,
cheerio
wolfi

sent per pm, also
i uploaded the section and added the ourto myself.
can you please lend an ear, tricia?

That works fine. It's not ideal, but the ending needs to be there. :)

Since you already have access to the MW because you're the BC, I'm going to take you out as DPL. That way the spot shows as open. People might get confused and think there's a DPL because your name is in that spot. ;)

Hi Wolfi and friends here of this project,

I love your project and would love to be the DPL from here. I am a new volunteer and have served as a DPL only once but I am learning from all the awesome volunteers at LibriVox!

Regards,
Jessie
