I'd like section 3 please! I'm new to LibriVox, so please let me know if I should be doing something else/differently.
Hi ScarlettSutton,

It would be great to have you record sermon 3. We'd just need you to do your recording test so that your technical specs are all ok. The most likely issue that you'll have is noise recution and the overall volume (which is best measured using the ReplayGain audacity plugin).

I'll put you down for the third sermon as soon as your test is up!

I'd like to try Sermon 8, if possible.

Thanks InTheDesert! Here's the link to where I uploaded my sample in the Listeners and Editors Wanted forum: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=84500

Please let me know how it sounds! Like I stated in the post I linked to, I think it sounds a bit muffled, but that might just be me.

Thanks! Someone should be along soon to check the technical specs. My subjective impression is that it doesn't sound muffled.

I'll put you down for sermon 3 now. You need to select a name for the catalogue - it can be the same as your forum name or something different. What would you like?

Looks like you're ready to roll!

Just an observation on your recording test - the noise reduction lost some of the pleasant clarity that your voice has. Less is more. My suggestion would be that you use something like (6, 3, 0) in the settings. 20 dB is far too much I'd say.
