Wow that was super speedy turnaround time! You have a great voice for this reading thing. :)

Chapter 24 PL notes - my only notes are on stumbles or halting phrases. Your reading is quite accurate and I enjoyed the speed you chose! Some of these are pretty minor, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to note the small ones too while you are cleaning up some of these anyway. I am not sure what the best method would be to help with this going forward. Maybe you could try to edit out pauses before submitting files or try to read each paragraph to yourself directly ahead of recording them.

Let me now if you have any questions or disagree with any of those!

01:23 stumble “and nobody heard he-the quivering joy”
02:36 pause “to look once more upon their valley ... town.”
03:15 stumble “How Fanny Foster came to pay the great pa-price for ... Green Valley’s salvation”
05:17 pause “she knew that she more than anyo...one else”
05:37 pause “he never quite understood ... that and she ... didn’t quite expect”
05:45 stumble “The perist...istency in matters of love ... that is the heritage”
06:00 repeat “But why must I be the only one to ... to obey the law?”
06:57 stumble “why the poolroom me-man gave up his ... business”
07:40 pause “I may as well ... be ... a June bride”
08:41 stumble “leaning over the- uh fences”
09:00 stumble “hitching up ove-their ... overall straps”
09:28 stumble “it’s good to see y—and have you home again”
09:40 pause “they went down through ... Green Valley”
09:43 pauses “sunshine lay ... warm and ... golden”
09:50 pauses “and were greeted as ... only Green Valley knows how to greet ... those it loves”
10:25 pause “they came to her hand ... in hand”
10:33 pause “then her eyes ... filled”

Okay this is becoming more and more such a cute little town!

Chapter 6 spot check PL okay!
Chapter 7 PL okay!

Chapter 5 (I leave up to your discretion whether these need updated or not, I am okay with passing):
12:18 repeat “to the ... to the description of every form”
15:00 pause “It may of ... course have been”
Also at the end there are only about 3.5 seconds of silence.

Thank you!!!!! This is only my third recording, so I'm still learning about editing and pace. That 6:57 section, I had tried to fix before my first submission, but I could hear what you were saying. It still wasn't right, but I think I fixed it now. Cutting out those pauses, I shaved nearly 20 seconds off. LOL, so it definitely needed fixing. https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/greenvalley_24_reynolds_128kbp.mp3. Duration: 10:44. :)

Thanks a lot. But what are the durations of the chapters? It is very important.

Hello Rex, I replied in the post above yours. Chapter 20 is all yours. Please submit a one- minute sampal recording, to make sure your technical settings are all correct. In addition, please let us know under which name you would like to be credited in the catalogue.
