thought i had already done one of these a few years back.

this is using garage band on a macbook pro with a majority RS Pro mic

Hi and welcome back to Librivox. There are a couple of edits needed please but I am not familiar with Garageband so can't advise how to do them with that software.

The recording should be in mono and is currently in stereo.

The volume is just on the top end of what we accept so would be ideal to lower it a couple of dB.

If you could carry out the edits and reupload using the same filename that would be great thanks

For the record, GarageBand in its latest version(s) doesn't allow for mono recordings.

If you're not fully committed to GB, I'd recommend switching to another program, such as Audacity. :)
