I am operating with Audacity, an analog mic, on windows 10. I have the raw audio in front then at 30 seconds I have some editing on it to clean it up. Let me know what you think and if it fits the expectation.

Hi Russell

Welcome to Librivox

Your voice is pleasant and your recording was clear.

Just one thing to note: the volume was a little on the low side. You need to amplify by about 7 dB.

There is a Checker programme which is very useful for ensuring that your audio meets specifications:

If you would like to update and reupload your recording someone will check it for you.

Hi Russell

Your new recording meeting the volume specification.

However now the bit rate is incorrect - its is 192 kbs and should be 128 kbs.

Cheers

My goodness, I switched over to another project and changed the specs and forgot to change back. So thank you for being patient, this is 128 Kbps 44.1 kHz at 86.3 dB. I ran it through checker and it passed. https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_russellrogersvo.mp3
