Hi there

I reviewed your test sample, and I'm afraid you have some work to do. LibriVox requires audio that is 128kb constant bit rate, mono, and between 86db and 92db, preferably 89-90. Your test is 73kb variable bit rate and only 83.4db, much too low. In addition, your audio is severely distorted.

When exporting your MP3 from Audacity, be sure to first check bit rate mode - Constant, then select 128kb from the pull-down menu, and check Force export to mono.

Please record a new test with the same file name and post it as a reply. Someone will meander by and review it for you. Please include a description of the mic, software and system you use so that we may better offer suggestions for improvement.
