LibriVox and Wikipedia Links

I am confused. I don't see a link to Librivox on either of these.

Someone has reverted the added links, arguing that they violate external link policy of fr-wiki. I'm mainly active on en-wiki, where that's obviously not the case, but I don't believe that's the case on fr-wiki either. I've joined an exchange on their talk page to try to get them to reconsider.

Thank you for the explanation. The Spanish Wikipedia has also been resistant to Librivox links.

I have a Wikipedia account and am an active editor, but I am a novice and I get corrected everytime I do something there. However, if anyone knows what needs to be done and wants to point me to the place where it needs to be done, I'm happy to do it. Let's leave it at that for now.

Are you a Wikipedia editor?

I'm looking for help creating a Wikipedia article (my first time contributing anything to Wikipedia) for the author of the book that I'm finishing up so the LibriVox/Archive listing will link to the Wikipedia article.

Currently, my Wikipedia article is titled, "Draft:Arthur Albert St. Mouritz". I edited Wikipedia articles that relate to his work (epidemics, influenza, Hawaii, etc.), and linked them to this new article. I submitted the article twice, got helpful suggestions each time, and am awaiting a response to my third submission.

I haven't figured out how to add the article to a category or navbox. Do you have any suggestions at all? I feel like I'm stumbling in the dark. Lots of guidance on the website, but much of it doesn't make sense to me.

I'm not much further along than you, but here's what I found. This seems to be the cleanest most direct help page to understand categories: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Categories

After reading that help page, I suggest finding several accepted articles that are similar to yours. Then go to the bottom of those accepted pages and copy to your article the exact format that they have used for their categories.

That's all I can suggest, but I'm happy to look and learn with you if needed.
