Thanks for saying so. I hope we can get a team together to catch up, then develop a plan to maintain.

I got confused about Devorah's 4:30 Zoom presentation regarding Dramatic Productions. That date was changed to February 12th, on January 31st. Alas, after that someone quoted Phil's earlier post stating the date as the 5th, and I didn't notice the changed date. I just cleared it with Phil that it is indeed set for the 12th. I post this in case anyone else got confused. See ya'll next week.
I would like to recommend to Phil that he post the zoom address in each Announcement as it comes up, or post it in the First Post if the addy doesn't change.

Hey! Hey! Hey! Y'ALL COME TO ZOOM FRIDAY 4:30 CENTRAL TIME USA, 2/12/2021.
Dramatic Readings require love and attention to every detail and especially to the delicate editing to stich everyone's contribution into a seamless play or book. It isn't magic, just skill and Devorah will show us the steps she takes to do just this. We love to participate in Dramatic Readings and plays, learn some of the background stuff that makes it all possible. DRs are some of our most popular and well loved recordings so let's make 'em better and better.
Just click on this link to join us. I will open the meeting about 3:50 to work out the kinks. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8840814632

This is the play I'll be putting together tomorrow (2/12) at 4:30 pm Central time: https://hdl.handle.net/2027/uc1.c021051126
You'll see a bunch of different techniques I use to make a play/DR sound natural, such as measuring and adjusting volume, using placemarkers (not a technical term), layering multiple voices over each other, and more! (Maybe even changing tempo!
