That makes me think we should concentrate on reading children's books on LV so we encourage this trend and get them off the damned phones and Internet ... I haven't recorded any children's stories for a while and when (and if) I can get back to the mic I may give it another try.

...but Librivox is part of the internet isn't it, eh? and very accessible on phones too.
(I guess a larger part of your point is what we mean by "children," and I would agree that nobody under 14 or so really needs a smartphone for anything.)

Librivox has literally been my "social media" for about the past 6 years... so at least I have been putting it to good use :D
