Hello I really love old trains. I wonder if you know any old short stories in the crime or suspense genre set on a train. I already know of Amelia B. Edwards' famous story and Conan Doyle's "The Lost Special". Can you help me find some others?

You could go to the catalog and search for some you know of that are available on librivox too: https://librivox.org/search?primary_key=0&search_category=author&search_page=1&search_form=get_results

I could try to find some too... just I don't know what you are looking for. Author?

They aren't crime stories, but they are train stories:

Part action/adventure, part humor.

I know you said short stories, but here's a couple of suggestion if you ever feel like a longer listen:

Also, I can think of a ghost short story involving the railway.
"The Signal-Man", by Charles Dickens. It's #18 in this collection: https://librivox.org/short-ghost-and-horror-collection-035-by-various/
