thank you for the fast turn-around, Rapunzelina. And Polonia is excellently PL ok right away. Now looking forward to the life-after-death performanceRapunzelina wrote: ↑January 11th, 2021, 9:38 amPolonia, act 1: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/purgatoryofstpatrick_polonia_1_128kb.mp3 4:33

Thank you Sonia, good to hear it's PL OK.
The after death performance is not much different. I don't have a wide range. Or maybe Polonia is not a person who changes so easily. Deep down she's still the same

ah well, you did it excellently I thought, and you did make the voice a bit deeper in the second part, at least I had that impression. It is really well done. Don't you worry, all of Polonia is PL okRapunzelina wrote: ↑January 14th, 2021, 5:03 amThe after death performance is not much different. I don't have a wide range. Here's the First Canon, duration 2:15.

I am wondering--is the First Canon the same as the Prior in Act 3? The role names are different, but I wondered if the men were the same because of this bit:
LUIS. ...Oh, for charity conduct me
To the Prior of your fold,
To the Abbot of this convent.
FIRST CANON. Though unworthy, you behold
Him in me. Speak. What's your wish?
If they are the same, I'd be glad to read the Prior parts too, and if they're not the same of course I am glad to let the Prior alone.

For now, let the Prior remain separate, please. I'll have to take a closer look.
Thanks, Todd
Thanks, Todd
he could maybe also mean that he is the deputy stand-in for the prior for the time being, to welcome Luis. That's why he said he was unworthy of the role.JoannaHoyt wrote: ↑February 4th, 2021, 5:49 pmhttps://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/purgatoryofstpatrick_firstcanon_3_128kb.mp3

In any case, your bit is excellently played out, you sound quite composed and serene, just like a good monk should be

Thank you
