BTW, I think all of Mrs. Starr's lines are in Act 1--two in scene 1 and two in scene 2. The numbering for this play is confusing! I also think Mrs. Cogshall is Act 1 as well. Please let me know if I'm missing something.

Thanks,
Wendy

I'll check. Lightnin' and I weren't at our best when we originally made up the MW, it appears....

Thanks, Todd

Hmm, operating an MW without due care and attention. You’ll have to appear before the Judge I’m afraid, Todd. Ain't nobody done that since old Jim Prong drove one into the river, dead drunk, in his long underwear.

(Readers who recognise that gag kindly keep shtum. )

Come and assist Doctor Pangloss instruct the Baron in the proper use of his conjugals and declensions in our new play "The Heir At Law"

The pivotal role of Mrs. Starr. :)
BTW, I think she's in only Act 1, although the MW says otherwise. Let me know if I missed something.

Well, you are the star - can't believe you'd only get one act. Ah well; I have apologized for Lightnin' to much already....

Thanks, Todd

thank you Michele, another lovely performance, and there's more opportunity to show your talent in here, as you missed quite a few speeches ;)

> at about 0:15: (p. 24) please insert four missed quotes from page 24. Mrs Preston shows up one page earlier than you expected ;):
"Why thank you. I'd love to."
"But...do you know if the mail has come yet ?"
"Oh, please don't. There probably wasn't anything for me anyway."
"But he's not Millie's young man. She was employed in his office in San Francisco."

> at about 0:30: (p. 25 & 26) four missed quotes here as well (including some ALL lines):
"Oh, splendid !"
"Yes, we were."
"Yes, come along."
"Why, you only came three days ago."

> at about 0:50: (p. 59) missed ALL line: "Good night, Mr Jones."

thank you !

Sonia

Here's Mrs. Cogshall:

Although she appears in both acts, she only speaks in the first one. Super chatty there though.
