Hi Arden,
Chapter 27 was a great piece! Two PL notes: at 1:25 please omit the repetition of "...in which he urged the advantage of his scheme." and at 1:52 the repetition of "for their own" needs to be omitted.

I’d be happy to record section 08—if a rough phonetic pronunciation of those Greek lines, without any actual knowledge of the language, would be acceptable!

Sure, and there's some Latin in there as well.

Don't read the word "Greek" just the transliteration as given. Hint: the "o" with the diacritical mark over it is a long "o" and the "e" with the diacritical mark is a long "a" sound. Approximately. My Greek is a bit rusty, but that is Classical Greek which is rusty itself.
