You have been working so hard. I don't expect such speedy responses knowing how much you have to do. I appreciate it. Jim

This looks really interesting. Can I claim 88 and 89?

hello and welcome to this project :) and thank you for your claims, though they are quite challenging sections, yes I agree it's a very interesting period.

Please read carefully through the first two posts to find any special rules regarding this project, which deviate from other regular projects. Concerning footnotes (include important ones), page and book references (leave them out !), and other details. If you are unsure about anything, don't hesitate to ask. Since those sections will be rather long, I would recommend first posting one and getting feedback before tackling the second, so that if I find any errors these can be amended for the second section right from the start. ;)

Also please note in the MW that your chapter is divided into sub chapters, the cut-off sentences are noted down in the MW.

Thanks

Sonia

wonderful reading Kristine, it was so easy to follow your narration with all the changes of the kings throughout this rather busy period of Scandinavia.

There is only one thing missing. You forgot to make any reference to the genealogical table p. 239. Since it's depicting all the rulers of the several countries mentioned, I think the best place probably would be to put it right after the title

> at 0:33: "Part 5. The North. See genealogical table p. 239. Denmark 1134-1197"

thanks

Time is 52.03

Apologies once again. I guess the adage Old Dogs...New Tricks is often true. Hopefully, everything is spot on now.

Here is section 28! I haven't worked this hard at one section in a long time, but it feels good, though!
yes this was really a feat, with so many dates  you positioned them quite well to keep the chaos to a minimum  oh and excellent job at reading the family tree
There is one date (page 162) that I believe was a typo. It says that Avitus reigned from 455-556, but was deposed shortly. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think most people would call 101 years a short reign, so I took that extra century off.
 I bet for Avitus 101 years felt very short (these emperors always had delusions of grandeur  ) but yes, I agree it's most likely a typo

I did find a few missed bits, mainly those Tacitus sources which I wanted included. Those book references in the footnotes we can leave out, but the ones in the text proper seem interesting (they are only in the Roman chapters anyway, I think).

Could you include those bits still please ?
