please check this is my first recording after test
I've checked the technical specs, and they both look fine. I hope to get caught up on my listening for this project later today.
The one issue I see is your file name. In the first post of each project thread, there is a paragraph that tells how files should be named for that project. For us, the post says:
So the filenames for your two files should be:Filename: emeraldstorybook_##_various_128kb.mp3 where ## is the section number. (e.g. emeraldstorybook_01_various_128kb.mp3)
emeraldstorybook_25_various_128kb.mp3
emeraldstorybook_32_various_128kb.mp3
It's important to follow this naming scheme to keep things organized behind the scenes. To give you an idea, I currently have over 3000 files in my upload folder - submitted by various readers for the active projects I'm MCing. It's similar for the other admins. So keeping these files organized is made much easier with the file naming conventions we use.

Let's keep them as is for now, at least until I get a chance to listen to them and see if any changes are needed.

Thanks Mary Ann. The volume of your work is astounding. Will pay more attention to labelling detail. Appreciate your patience.
I listened to Cindy's recording of White butterflies and was transported. A beautiful reading. Don't know what medium to use to tell her that.

OK, light snow falling outside (again), but that's ok because I'm settled in to listen to stories of Spring!
First, the poems (because I always follow along with the text when PLing poetry):
And sections 12, 21, 25, 34 (I know it's not a poem, but it was so short, I thought it might be) and 35 are all PL OK.
Lovely readings ladies! I love the stories about butterflies. Who would have thunk that they are flowers that the fairies gave wings to?
On to the other stories ...

Caro,
Listening to your sections. (I have to say, your voice reminds me of another reader that I have listened to a lot, but I can't place it. It if comes to me, I'll let you know so you can see what you think ...)
Sections 15, Well, that was lovely, and I'm glad the snow drop accepted not being a rose, but what about the other seed? It seems the story is half untold ...
Anyway, it's PL OK
Section 27, also PL OK. Loved the dove voice.
Section 39, a tooth ache!
PL OK.
Section 47, PL OK.
Section 48, PL OK. Yeah, another poem. I didn't realize it was hope, faith and love.
Section 57, nasty old fig tree. PL OK.

Caro,
I see you claimed and read 58 too. That's PL OK.
I had it in as carol's section, sorry about that. There are quite a few choices in the reader drop down menu that start with caro so I need to be more careful going forward to pick the correct reader!

Czandra,
Section 32 is lovely. The coo surprised me and brought a smile. Well done and PL OK.
Going forward, please pay particular attention to the intro/outro format. We've designed it for listeners to quickly hear what section they are listening to (so the section number is first). Helps those who are sight impaired to quickly get to the section they want, but also for those who are listening while doing other things, I suppose.
The format is given in the first post and you'll find it standard across all LV projects:

Also, I suggest for all readers that they give their name either at the beginning or the end of the file, but not in both places.Intro to recording:
Leave 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning.
Say:End of recording:"Section # of The Emerald Story Book. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit librivox.org." [Optional: "Read by your name."] "The Emerald Story Book. Section Title."
Say:"End of section #." [Optional, and if not stated in the intro: "Read by your name, city, date."]

tyah,
Section 45 -- first, what great names for bees! A little difficult to keep quite straight when they flew ... how observant and how funny! So much life in that story! Very well read and PL OK.
