Hi Kevin
Just as an experiment I have recorded a German version of section 12. If this is acceptable I would like it to replace the English version previously uploaded. Alternately I could do a file with both versions. Let me know what you think :D

I don't see why we can't simply include the German version as a separate recording. Would that be all right?

OK by me, but it means I have 3 sections rather than the 2 permitted.

If TriciaG doesn't object, we'll make an exception.

New rule. If the recorder wishes to record the same reading in another language, the two recordings will count as one. Haha!

I could easily combine the two readings into one file.

Note for PLer: the first 2 minutes of this recording are the same as before so do not need PLing again. The new bit from there can be PLed with the German text, which unfortunately is a poor scan of a gothic script text, so not easy to read. I chose it because it was used for the full recording of this play which is in the catalogue, so I know the text is safely PD.
A German speaking friend listened to this and said it was ok apart from a few slightly questionable pronunciations.

Thanks for the information. I guess we consider this recording a mini UN translators version. :)

Hello,

May I contribute a second recording to this collection from chapter 15 of Fredrich Nietzsche's book titled The Anitchrist?

Kind regards,
Chad

The link to the numeral 15 is a bit weak, but everyone gets a second go. However, please do correct your first submission before offering a second.

I've listened to Section 12: Faust part 1 scene 15. It sounds good. However, I have a question with the additional German text. Should there be an addition to the introduction stating: "The text is read in both English and German"? I don't know what the rule is on that...if there is a rule.
