I'm hearing quite a lot of background hiss on this except for the last few seconds. Did you perhaps forget to select all before doing the noise reduction?

The subheadings are all missing, can we please have them in as they are helpful for the listener to navigate and understand the flow of the topic? (01:40; 03:30; 05:23; 07:50; 09:10; 11:20)

02:40 I hear "seemed not only necessary"; text has unnecessary
05:55 stumble in "during the sixties and early seventies"
"Just because you can doesn't mean you should"—my first law of life.

phew...wrong Gregory, thank you for catching that one. I corrected and re-recorded that bit: "under Gregory the Seventh"

Sorry about the subheadings; I actually had removed them at the last moment because I didn't like them in the audiobook rendering. I should have asked...

Thanks,

A couple of general comments and then some specifics.

The reading felt a little rushed and I couldn't tell where the paragraph breaks are. Of particular note for future readings, sub-headings need a (brief) pause before them so that the listener knows that there is a new topic happening.

02:07 there's a faulty edit here in "the Indians across the Ohio" and has resulted in "the Indians across Ohio", which changes the meaning of the text from River to State.
03:23 this one is optional to amend as it is a pronounciation, "Bâsle" is normally said "Baas-l". I hear the s and l back to front (Bal-sey)
09:27 I hear "at the price of peace"; text has "as the price of peace"
09:58 I hear "But by the great Treaty of"; text doesn't have the word "great"
12:39 I hear "in the fight off off Santiago" with the word "off" doubled-up (sounds like an edit didn't quite match up)

If you could please amend the recording per these notes, and then re-upload with the same name, that would be great.
Good Morning,

Thank you for this helpful feedback. I have addressed all the points, and have reuploaded the file for review. New length is 15:54.
