Polly: A Before-Christmas Story, by Hope Ledyard.

Hope Ledyard is a pseudonym of Frances McCready Harris (1846-1919). I couldn't find either of those names in the LV catalogue yet.

Thanks a lot,

Garth

I've listened to Noel while following along with the text. I think it's PL OK, although if you want someone who better understands French to listen, you're welcome to do so. :)

I'm fairly confident in my French audio-to-text-comparison capability.

thank you Tricia, I'm sure following along with the text is good enough to compare what was being said. I did not speak too fast to follow I think.

The Little Match Girl is PL OK! Sad - but then, aren't most of Andersen's stories sad?

I gotta wait until next year to do any more of these? Seems harsh to me but okay I do suppose that I need to work on delayed gratification.
